RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011 MATCH TICKET CATEGORIES
House of Travel Rugby guarantees that we will provide you with official RWC 2011 match tickets; however, at the current time NO specific Rugby World Cup 2011 match ticket categories are available to be confirmed. Match ticket category allocations will not be advised to Official Travel Agents until at least June or July 2010. Anyone guaranteeing specific match ticket categories simply cannot make this assurance, and we believe this is misleading to customers.
House of Travel has been involved in every Rugby World Cup since its inception in 1987. With our knowledge and experience from previous Tournaments, we have based our package prices on category C match tickets. House of Travel Rugby reserves the right to amend our current package pricing costs, subject to confirmation of our final match ticket category allocations.
We anticipate for RWC 2011 the majority of match ticket categories A and B will be allocated to the global sponsors and the corporate hospitality programme, especially during the latter part of the Tournament (quarter-finals, semi-finals and RWC 2011 Final). Demand will be greater than the supply for this Tournament, particularly as the stadia in New Zealand are significantly smaller than previous Rugby World Cup Tournaments.
An indication of the match ticket seating locations is detailed below.
- Category A Covered between the try lines
- Category B Uncovered between the try lines
- Category C Uncovered in the corners
- Category D Uncovered behind the goal posts
You can request specific seating categories with House of Travel via the special request section in your booking form, and we will endeavour to fulfil that request, through categories A, B, C and D, however, we cannot guarantee any category of match seating until such time as our category allocations have been confirmed to us. House of Travel is not prepared to guarantee categories until we are advised our allocation by the official RWC 2011 ticket supplier. What we are prepared to guarantee at this stage is an official RWC 2011 match ticket.
There will be a greater likelihood of securing higher category match tickets during the pool match stages of the tournament, whereas the quarter-finals, semi-finals and RWC Finals higher graded categories will be extremely limited. Higher categories will attract a surcharge to the advertised price, whereas a lower category will mean a reduction in the advertised price.
Offerings of RWC 2011 match ticket category upgrades or downgrades, will be processed in order of booking deposits received i.e. the first clients booking with House of Travel Rugby will have first option of selecting match ticket categories, and this process will follow in order of bookings received.
